‘THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN’.

They will sing, act and dance their way through many of the Savoy Operas including ‘The Gondoliers’, ‘HMS Pinafore’, ‘The Pirates of Penzance’, ‘The Mikado’, ‘Utopia, Limited’, ‘Ruddigore’ and ‘The Sorcerer’.
Artistes appearing in this concert will be Joanna Brabbs, Alexandra Ferrari, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano.

Tickets for the concert are £15 (including light refreshments) and can be obtained by ringing 01480 465821, via wmichaelg50@gmail.com, from ‘Chatters’, The Queen’s Head or ‘The Ferry Boat’ (all in Holywell-cum-
Needingworth). Proceeds from the event will go to St. John’s Church. The concert, which begins at 7.30pm, is a light-hearted evening of songs and scenes from the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, traditionally staged and presented in period costume. It consists of two hours of Savoy favourites,
combining the biting wit of W. S. Gilbert and the enchanting music of Sir Arthur Sullivan. Members of the public are advised to purchase their tickets early as space in the church is limited and the concert is bound to be very popular. Don’t miss what promises to be a hugely enjoyable evening!
