Comedy of Errors - Shakespeare at the Towers

Our open-air summer production for 2026 will be Comedy of Errors, directed by James Barwise.

The show will run from Tuesday 23rd June to Saturday 4th July 2026 (no performance on Sunday 28th June). The shows start at 7.30pm every evening and will be held in the open air. There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday 27th June.

The Comedy of Errors is possibly the most ‘Shakespeare’ of the Shakespeare comedies because its got two sets of identical twins rather than just one.

What does that mean? It means double the hilarity, double the silliness and double the wholesomeness when everyone gets reunited at the end!

Join our Antipholuses and our Dromios as they run around Ephesus in Ancient Greece trying to find the rest of their family, but finding a bit more than they bargained for on the way.
