The annual St Neots Dragon Boat Race is back on Saturday, 15th August 2026! This much-loved town event has become a highlight of the summer calendar, bringing the community together for a day of excitement, fun, and friendly competition, all for a great cause.

Teams from across St Neots and beyond take to the river in beautifully decorated dragon boats, paddling their way to victory amid cheers from the riverside crowds. From corporate crews to community groups and friends & family teams, everyone can get involved in the thrill of the races.

But the Dragon Boat Race is about more than just competition. It’s an annual fundraising event supporting local causes, including the Mayor’s chosen charities and the charity supported by the St Neots St Mary’s Rotary Club. Every paddle, every cheer, and every visitor helps make a real difference in the community.

The event is proudly supported by the St Neots Dragon Boat Team and the St Neots St Mary’s Rotary Club, and features great sport, delicious food, artisan traders, and fun activities for all ages, making it the perfect riverside day out for families, friends, and visitors.
