Sue has been with this station, now Ouse Valley Radio, since 2016 having cut her teeth on hospital radio at Addenbrookes. She presents Afternoon Gold  every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm,  produces and directs our gold award winning soap drama Huntsford and the monthly comedy Ambleforth Manor. 

Managing a team of 30 people, she also produces and directs Ouse Valley Scribblers on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm.  This hour airs stories and poems, Fi’s diary and a short children’s story, giving the opportunity for local writers to have their works broadcast and, via our podcasts on our website, available to download or listen again to a much wider audience.

Sue is passionate about local radio and she loves to share the wonderful pieces from the writers who contribute such a high quality of work to broadcast.
