Ambleforth Manor
Created by Patrick MacDonald: Each episode is written in turn by Fiona Ritchie, Helen Kewley and Jean Fairbairn. Ambleforth Manor is a run-down country house owned by the Colonel, his new Bulgarian bride Olga and his son and daughter, Laurel and Hardy. The house is maintained by a housekeeper and gardener and a decision has been made to open the house to the public to bring in much needed funds. Their neighbours, Lord and Lady Bosson and daughter Juliet, have a much larger estate which does cause the Colonel some problems! Listen in at 4.40pm on the last Sunday of every month (during Scribbler’s Hour) to hear the antics of all in ‘Ambleforth Manor’ and their Airbnb business and newly acquired petting farm.
