The inspiration for the ‘Little Blue Duck’ stories began some years ago. Whilst working from a dear friend’s  home office.  I was able to observe the ducks in the shallow river and ford that ran past her home. She also had a wooden carving of a blue duck and it became a shared love along with an artist print that featured a blue duck. Being different is not always  easy…our little blue duck had many adventures and became a kind and supportive friend to all on the river. Along side the ‘The duck lady’ who gave care, support and love to all who crossed her path…… oh you may know her, my friend Sue Rodwell-Smith
