Based in the heart of Cambridgeshire, Frog on a Bike are one of the countys', and indeed the Eastern Regions’ , premier professional ceilidh bands’. They have been packing dance floors from St.Neots to Ely, Cambridge to Peterborough, and beyond, for over 30 years! Composers and creative interpreters of traditional tunes, Frog on a Bike’s particular brand of high energy folk-rock, distinctive sound and driving rhythm is guaranteed to have you up and dancing. With a luscious line-up of sumptuous melodeon, recorder, fiddle and mandolin, backed by a riotous rhythm section of bass & drums, you won’t be disappointed that you came along for a ride with this treasure from the Fens. Leading you through the dancing will be Ollie Simons, one of the most charismatic and in demand young ceilidh callers currently on the uk circuit.
