Huntingdon MP has been named UK's best new-serving MP

Our Member of Parliament has been named the UK’s top-performing new MP for the second year running. Ben Obese-Jecty, who represents the Huntingdon constituency, earned the accolade from PoliMonitor.  He was first ranked number one last year and has maintained the same position in this year's assessment.

Mr Obese-Jecty said: "I am very proud to have been ranked as the #1 new MP by PoliMonitor for the second year running. After coming top last year, I’ve worked extremely hard to continue that work ethic for a second year. I’m hugely proud to have been announced as the top MP again."  Since being elected, he has made it a priority to promote the area.

Mr Obese-Jecty said: "I truly believe it’s critical that the Huntingdon constituency is championed at every available opportunity. "I hope that the groundwork that’s been laid in the past two years will begin to bear bigger fruits shortly."  He also described himself as “Huntingdon’s biggest cheerleader”.
