New Programme Coming to Ouse Valley Radio

Hello Ouse Valley listeners!

John here. You might know me locally as your optometrist, but I’m stepping out from behind the testing equipment and swapping it for a microphone!

I’m hosting a brand-new monthly early evening show called ‘Health Matters’.  The first programme will be broadcast in two weeks time on Tuesday 29th September at 7pm in the "Over to You" series. 

I’ll be interviewing frontline healthcare heroes—from GPs and dentists to hospital CEOs and researchers—to ask the questions you actually want answers to:

• The Big Picture: Where is UK healthcare heading in the next ten years?
• The Behind-the-Scenes: What is it really like to run a modern surgery or hospital?
• The Human Side: What drives these specialists, and what are their biggest pet peeves?
• The Taboos: The health advice we are usually too afraid to ask for!
